Fudzilla report, XFX Radeons may show up as early as next week. A retailer received a XFX Radeon HD4000 series of graphics cards list at Lithuania.

The product sheets on the Lithuanian website suggest XFX’s 4830, 4850, and 4870 offerings will run at the standard AMD-specified clock speeds, although XFX itself said it had "factory-overclocked" XXX-branded models in the pipeline. The company also promised "unparalleled 5-Star support" and customized drivers for the new Radeons.

How to transfer DRM protected iTunes M4P to BlackBerry Storm

“With a unique touch screen and cutting-edge multimedia capabilities, the BlackBerry Storm smartphone makes a great impression as you travel across town or to almost any corner of the world.”

One of the great new features I am starting to enjoy on my BlackBerry Storm is the ability for it to play multimedia files and specifically audio (music).

First let’s take a look at the video and audio formats supported by BlackBerry Storm:

Video format support: MPEG4 H.263, MPEG4 Part 2 Simple Profile, H.264, WMV
Audio format support: MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA, WMA ProPlus

Basically, when you buy music from iTunes, it comes with a copyright protection called DRM. These DRM-protected songs are locked so that they only work with Apple MP3 players. That means that if you have a BlackBerry Storm, you cannot use iTunes music.

So, what is the solution? You have to burn a CD. When you do this, the DRM is removed (because the music is converted to a non-DRM-compatible media). After you burn the CD, you can rip it to your PC as an MP3 file which no longer has DRM.

Alternatively, you can use TuneClone. TuneClone makes a virtual CD-ROM drive, tricking your PC into believing that you are burning a CD. Therefore, the DRM is removed without wasting a CD.

After you get the output MP3 files, you can now begin to transfer them to your BlackBerry Storm:

1. Connect your BlackBerry to you computer via the USB cable.
2. If you have properly enabled your Blackberry as a Mass Storage Device, your Blackberry’s microSD card will show as a removable drive on your computer.
3. Double click on the Blackberry folder.
4. Double click on the music folder.
5. Copy your music files to your BlackBerry.
6. Disconnect your Blackberry from the USB cable and go to the “Multimedia” icon on you Blackberry. You need to disconnect when you use the Mass Storage device method as it disables direct access from the BlackBerry when connected to the PC via the USB cable.
7. Click on the Music icon.
8. Click on the Media Card folder.
9. Select your Music folder.
10. Select your Song.
11. Play and enjoy.

Nokia N79 ships to US with native 3G

Nokia today quickly followed up last week’s introduction of the N85 for the US with a similar adaptation in the N79 NAM. The North America Model edition of Nokia’s fashion smartphone adds US-native 3G data for AT&T’s HSPA network and is otherwise as capable as the previously Europe-centered original, which comes with a five-megapixel camera, GPS and Wi-Fi. Its design focuses on swappable backplates that let users customize the look in a way normally off-limits to smartphones.
The handset is consciously positioned as an iPhone alternative with a 4GB microSD card in the box (up to 16GB through microSDHC), a full 3.5mm headphone jack and up to 24 hours of continuous music playback.

As with the N85, Nokia is opting out of selling the phone tied to a US carrier and is instead selling the Americanized N79 as an unsubsidized, unlocked model usable on T-Mobile or any other GSM, HSPA or UMTS network and without restrictions on software. It should be available online and at Nokia’s flagship stores in Chicago and New York for $439 starting today.

Gateway LT1001j Netbook

Brother of Acer Aspire One, gateway LT1001j Net book releassed. Probably working on its own netbook, although since Acer is now its parent company, reports say that it is simply a cousin to Acer’s Aspire. The LT1001j holds 1GB RAM, has a 8.9-inch display with WSVGA (1,024×600) resolution, a 0.3M webcam, and USB 2.0 and SD card slots. Weighing only 1.06kg, it is powered by an Intel Atom N270 processor and Windows XP OS. Due out in Japan this month, the claim is that because of the similarities, this one won’t hit the States.

OPhone Lenovo Android Phone In China

New Google Android mobile operating system-based phones are coming fast.

After news less than a week ago of the second Android phone to be launched in Australia, reports suggest that Lenovo is preparing to launch a Android-based phone called "OPhone" on China Mobile’s network.

T-Mobile’s HTC G1 launched in October in the U.S. was the first device to run Android OS.

Lenovo’s OPhone is likely to release early next year, according to a forum on ModMyGphone.

A leaked shot of the OPhone suggests a sophisticated touchscreen phone that could potentially seize the opportunity that Apple has left in the country.

China has the largest number of cellphone users in the world. But Apple has been struggling to ink a deal with China Mobile to bring the iPhone to China. So far, the company has made little headway.

The OPhone, which runs Android operating system customized to China Mobile’s network, could fill that gap for customers longing for an iPhone-like gadget.
